I am only a sophomore in high school, but i need to know what kinds of universities would take me so I can figure out what I need to get into a good university.
I have a 3.67 GPA.
I play lacrosse.
I am in 7 clubs, Golden Girls, American Red Cross, Pep Club, Gardening Club, Beach Outreach, Sticks and Stones, All Kids Count.
Do I have a chance of getting into a good university? Such as Cal Berkeley, University of Arizona, Boston University, UCLA, UC Santa Barbara?
I want to major in Political Science, so if anyone knows of some schools that have a really good PolySci program, please let me know!
It is too early to tell. Most universities look at ur junior and senior year grades more than anything else. For UC system, if you are top 4 percent of ur class, you're guaranteed a spot in the UCs. In addition, your SAT-I, SAT-II scores are also very important.
Private univiersities look at extra-culurriulm stuff, but UCs are pretty much academic driven.
You may want to check out this reference book in your school library or local public library:
College Handbook, by College Board.
This book gives you admission requirements for each university in details.
