I can't find it on the national nor local site.

Prices vary by region. Your best bet would be to call the local office. Prices here run about $45 for the class.

What is the easiest way to get CPR first aid training?

I used to have my CPR and First Aid renewed ever year or two, depending on where I had the training (usually red cross or american heart association). i wouls really prefer to avoid actually going to a class. bot my certificates are expired. can i get certified online anywhere reliable?

You absolutely can not get certified online. You need to be able to demonstrate you can perform the skills. Since you've been certified for years, you should know this. Just make an appointment with your local ARC by phone or online and go in and take the class. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer is like a 5 hour class. It's annoying, but you need it. I'm not sure about how long community CPR classes take.

Is there any place in Columbus Ohio to get free First Aid and CPR training?

I'm going to be going camping/rafting with a bunch of friends in a month or so. I'd love to learn first aid and cpr before the trip just in case. However, I look up the Red Cross, and they want something like $72. I have... $2 in my bank account. Are there any places that will train for free? Thanks!

well, 2 years ago when I was a junior a firefighter came into my health class and gave us free CPR training and First aid (and certified us, if we wanted). Try the fire station next to OSU airport on sawmill, they might help.

Where can I get certification for CPR and First Aid?

I want to take a CPR Course with my brother (who wants to be a cop) and get my CPR/First Aid Card. However, I'm not sure where to go to find this sort of training. I have talked to the Red Cross, but the only one in town is sort of run down so I'm looking for other ideas?

Do you have CPR/First Aid Certification?
Can I get this from a local fire department?

Thanks for your knowledge!
We are in the Vancouver, Washington area.

(sort of near Portland, Oregon)

Since the Red Cross isn't helping, I would try local college, or even local hospital, not sure if the fire department can help you or not.

What are requirements for having a job as a lifeguard and is all of this provided thorough a Red Cross class?

I am taking a lifeguarding class at school through the Red Cross and I was wondering if they will give me the required CPR and First Aid training to get a job at the YMCA (in Farmington Hills if that makes a difference)
