what is a better board for park riding a capita indoor survival a capita stairmaster a burton hero or a dcpbj?

for mainly park riding mostly jibs and also bigger jumps
bigger jumps as in like 30 feet max
and other suggestions are welcome

all of them arent ment to be ridden off big booters but if you had to pick out of those 4 the indoor survival is the best for that purpose.

other suggestions:
lib tech skate banana
signal park series
stepchild simon
k2 darkstar

capita indoor survival or ride dh2?

i'm looking to get a new snowboard next year and i am a flat out park rat. i'm looking for a board that will be very good in the park and very durable. i'm hitting mostly jibs and jumps up to 50 feet should i get a dh2 with the new lowrize rocker or get an indoor survival with flat kick or regular camber?

Indoor survival for sure. The flat kicks are cool, lots of fun to press with. And if you are looking for durability all Capitas have a two year warranty.

i break alot of boards what is the most durable snowboard brand im looking at salomon, capita ride ande burton?

I am 78kgs mostly ride park but love powder days an steep lines drops ect... a bit confused as to weather to go camber or reverse camber or rocker?? am lookin at salomon grip and also ride dh an dh2 and capita indoor survival and burton jeremy jones. the salomon seems like a good board for what i want but I break boards allot and need the most durable out there!!

i'd go for a burton custom:)

Im buying a snowboard need help?

Hello, I'm really interested in buying this particular board, its a Capita Indoor Survival 2009, its a 158 and waist width of 25.34cm.

Please confirm if this board is a freeride/freestyle board

My specs are
Height: 176cm or 5"9-5"10
Weight: 200lb or 90KG
Boot size: 11

I have DC Phase boots if they do make any difference to foot width.

Thanks in advance

The board should fit you fine, and your boot size wont make that much of a difference with it.

If you like the board and it feels good under you then you can ride any style with it. I have a destroyer "freestyle board" and i ride pow with it evry year.

Difference / comparison between Lib Tech Skate Banana & GNU Street BTX

2009 Lib Tech Skate Banana
-or-
2009 GNU Street BTX

I've ridden a skate banana before, it's great. Right now I have a Capita Indoor Survival which is a really nice twin board but i want something similar with slightly more flex.

What are the differences between these two boards, as far as Flex goes and how they ride?

ok so both decks your lookin at are really really similar. they just use a differnent traction system that both work great. flex i actually think the GNU maybe a little stiffer but not by much. both boards are tight. but out of personal opinion i would say skate banana cause its a sicker board design and ive always been more down with LIb than GNU. good luck. hope i help.

  • Buy Cheap

  • New Park Board Time

I am an Ice Coast snowboarder just moving into the park scene. I had gone 8 or 9 times in middle school but was never great. I got back to the mountain 2 weeks ago after 4 or 5 years off and with the help of some of snow wolfs videos I was able to link turns and carve (although I need to get better at bleeding speed while carving and improve technique). That day I also met up with my friends and learned how to 50-50 boxes and do simple grabs on small jumps. I want to be able to jib everything, take mid size jumps and throw spins (I think the biggest we have locally at ski liberty is about 25 feet), butter around the hill, and have a fun time all around the mountain and in different conditions....
